ATTRIBUTES OF GOD

RULER STICK AND SCEPTRE

Rock Art from Sweden compared to the Egyptian god Seth. The common details are almost identical.

The Set God: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Set_(mythology)#The_Set_animal)

In art, Set was mostly depicted as a mysterious and unknown creature, referred to by Egyptologists as the Set animal or Typhonic beast, with a curved snout, square ears, forked tail, and canine body, or sometimes as a human with only the head of the Set animal. It has no complete resemblance to any known creature, although it does resemble a composite of an aardvark, a donkey, and a jackal, all of which are desert creatures. The main species of aardvark present in ancient Egypt additionally had a reddish appearance (due to thin fur, which shows the skin beneath it). In some descriptions he has the head of a greyhound. The earliest known representation of Set comes from a tomb dating to the Naqada phase of the Predynastic Period (circa 4000 BC–3500 BC), and the Set-animal is even found on a mace-head of the Scorpion King, a Protodynastic ruler.

Was ("power") sceptres represent the Set-animal. Was-sceptres were carried by gods, pharaohs, and priests, as a symbol of power, and in later use, control over the force of chaos (Set). The head and forked tail of the Set-animal are clearly present. Was-sceptres are often depicted in paintings, drawings, and carvings of gods, and remnants of real Was-sceptres have been found constructed of faience or wood.

THE GREAT HAND OF GOD.

The symbol of the hand of God is very well known in ancient as well in and modern art.

The hand symbol originate from the northern hemisphere contours of the Milky Way as showed in the red square on picture 1 above.

FOOTPRINT OF GOD.

The footprint of God are also a global known myth. The common interpretation are that the God have stand on the spot where the symbol are found. But as showed below the footprint symbol comes from a part of the northern Milky Way, where and when the great God are interpreted as seen standing.

Observing the figure in the night, you only can se one foot because the contours are disappearing and vanishing below the horizon.

Picture 1 and 2 are star map pictures. Picture 3 is from the island of Bornholm in Denmark, locality Allinge. Picture 4 is from Denmark, Himmerland, locality Godensgaard and picture 5 is from Italy, Val Camonica. The last picture shows the "feet of Buddha".

GOD AND AXE.

In many rock carvings you can see the symbol of an man with  an axe. In the red squares on picture 1 you can see how the axe or hammer has taken form as a symbol and as a mythological story. Picture 2 and 3 are rock carvings from Sweden, Bohuslen County and picture 5 are rock carving from Canada, Peterborough County.

GOD AND SPEAR.

In the Norse or Scandinavian mythology Wooten is the great white God living in a giant hall with spears on the sides of the hall.

From the red square on the Star Atlas you can see the origin of the symbol of a man standing with a spear.

GODS TRUMPET AND DRINKING HORN.

Picture 1 below show the atlas star map with the red square. From this part come man with the spear symbol. Picture 2 are a rock carving from Italy. Picture 3 are from Sweden, Bohuslen, Kalleby locality, showing 3 horn blowing men.

Horns can be used to blow in as well as to drink from. From the Norse Mythology we have the story of the white God Heimdal who guards the heavenly bridge Bifrost and blowing the horn Gjallarhorn to alarm the Gods when someone are approaching the bridge to heaven. And when Heimdal blows this horn it can be heard all over the World. Quite a horn, I must say!

Also from the Norse Mythology we have the story of Thor who could not empty the great horn with ale because the horn was enormous.

DIVINE HEADGEAR.

Throughout the revolving year you will se the Milky Way contours increase and decrease because of the fact of the Earth are circling around the Sun. Also we have the Summer season, where you can observe very little or nothing because of the light season. This fact are of course also included in the mythological storytelling.

Picture 1 below shows the Nordic God Wooten wearing a so called coned hat. In the middle the star map with the square which give the origin to the hair dress symbols. Picture 3 are an Egypt relief where you also can se a cone headdress.

THE SWAN AND THE MILKY WAY GOD

The mythical telling of "Zeus and the Swan" describes a part of the northern hemisphere Milky Way contour imaged as Great Man and the Swan constellation which can be found on the lower part of the Great God, humanized depicted as an intercourse between the God and a Swan. Research and google: "swan constellation and Milky Way".
